There are many cases of depression and the figure is only growing. The reason behind such a large number of cases wherein the patient suffers from depression is the fact that the working condition is getting tougher and more tension prone. It has been found that the right amount of serotonin is very helpful in keeping a person happy. It has also been discovered that consuming carbohydrates increases the amount of serotonin. Hence to fight depression related problems and to elevate the mood the diet that a person consumes must have the right amount of carbohydrates.
Thus by consuming the right amount of carbohydrate one can control the amount of serotonin produced in the body and directly control the mood of a person. heart stroke and cancer.
Folate is present in dark green vegetables and it has been found that folate also regulates the production and synthesis of serotonine in the body. Hence one must consume a lot of green vegetables to maintain the requisite amount of folate and serotonine.
Thus by maintain the right diet one can prevent problems such as depression and stress. Along with exercise and requisite amount of sleep the right nutrition also plays a key role. One must always try to consume fresh vegetables rather than consuming the canned food.
